Answers are everywhere. With AI, Google, and endless databases, anyone can get an answer instantly. But if you ask something vague, you’ll only get noise. That’s why it’s important to guide your kids as they learn to use AI.
The other day, my 7 year old was reading a science book. The question was: “What planet is closest to the sun?” The book gave the answer: Mercury.
Instead of moving on, I asked her:
“What question would you type into AI?”
She thought for a moment and said:
“How can Mercury not melt if it’s so close to the sun?”
That simple shift does two things:
– It turns memorizing into wondering.
– Teaches critical thinking early on
The future belongs to good thinkers.
